Applications Now Open: Pre-Seed Fund

We are excited to announce the launch of the Faculty of Science Pre-seed Fund in partnership with the McMaster Entrepreneurship Academy, and with funding through the SAF STEM Innovation Fund. This initiative aims to provide essential early-stage financial support for innovative research and entrepreneurial projects within our faculty.

• Eligibility: At least one current Faculty of Science faculty member as founder or co-founder, with a minimum of 6 months of project work and initial experiments completed on the project being commercialized.
• Application Dates:
  • Open: Friday, September 20, 2024
  • Close: Friday, October 18, 2024

Participants will receive advisory, coaching, and networking opportunities to accelerate their growth. Participants are required to actively engage in the program and participate in workshops throughout the 12 month term.
